Famous RawNola

1 c. coconut flakes
1 c. sunflower seeds
1 c. sesame seeds
1 c. pumpkin seeds
1 c. ground flax seed (optional)
1/2 c. currants
3 c. shredded apples
1/3 c. honey
3 tsp. vanilla (or 3 inches of vanilla beans)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. oil

Directions:
1. Grind flax seed in Vita-mix & place in large bowl.
2. Blend honey, oil, & vanilla beans in blender until smooth, then add to large bowl.
3. Shred apples in food processor with S blade or shredder blade.
4. Combine all the rest of the ingredients in large bowl. Mix with hands.
5. Spread out onto dehydrator trays covered with Teflex sheets. (uses about 2 1/2 sheets) Dehydrate at 105 degrees for 8 hours, then using another tray with mesh, turn them over onto a mesh covered tray to finish drying until the desired crispyness. Enjoy with fruit shake poured over the top.

We've also used this for breakfast with fruit shake over the top without dehydrating it.
